Sign Up for a Buddy
NEW! First-time attendees that are practicing clinicians are invited to participate in the new JADPRO Live Buddy Matching Program. You will be matched with an experienced attendee, who will contact you prior to the conference in order to answer questions you may have as you prepare for your first JADPRO Live. This is a great opportunity to meet one of your advance practice peers and make a new friend.
Once you are matched with your Buddy, the rest of your interaction is up to you. To make the most of the experience, we suggest trying one or more of the following:
- Attend a session or the poster presentations together
- Walk the exhibit hall together
- Meet for breakfast, lunch, coffee or the Welcome Reception to check in
We were all new once and it's nice to attend a conference where you already have a connection. Your JADPRO Buddy is someone you can network with before, during, and after the conference.
To sign up for Buddy Matching, contact Tamiko Trotman at ttrotman@hbside.com prior to September 6.

Design Your Conference
- Start planning your educational experience now by reviewing the topics that interest you most.
- Plan your tour of the exhibits by viewing the live floor plan and exhibitor list. Exhibitors can also be favorited in the mobile app so you can have your plan of action ready ahead of time.
Pre-Register for Satellite Symposia
- There are many satellite symposia offered during breakfast, lunch, and dinner times at the conference. Pre-registration in advance for these events is highly encouraged due to limited space. You'll receive an email when pre-registration opens (about 2 weeks prior to the conference). There is no additional fee to register for these sponsored sessions, as they are included with your full conference registration. Tickets for events that have not been filled will be available on site.
Know What's Included in Your Registration
- Full conference registration includes all sessions, CE programs, sponsored satellite symposia, certified symposia, conference meals, and access to the exhibit hall. Remember to pre-register for the sponsored satellite and certified satellite symposia to get your first choice!
- Conference meal activities comprise the First-Time Attendee Welcome Reception and general Welcome Reception on Thursday evening; breakfast, lunch, and refreshment breaks on Friday and Saturday; and breakfast and a refreshment break on Sunday. If you are not attending the symposia offered during meal times, breakfast and lunch will also be available in the exhibit hall. We guarantee you won't go hungry!
Badges and Session Access
- You MUST wear your conference name badge at all times. Name badges help to foster a sense of community and security; they identify us to one another and also to ushers and door monitors. If you registered for any of the pre-conference workshops or the satellite symposia, these events will be listed on the back of your badge. Your badge will have a QR code on the front that door monitors will scan to approve your access to these events. Badges will also be scanned for all general sessions for access control and to record room counts. Badge scanning is not used to grant CE credits.
- First-Time Attendee Button: You'll receive one of these with your badge. Be sure to wear this on your lanyard to gain access to the First-Time Attendee Welcome Reception.
Visit the First-Time Attendee Concierge Desk
- This desk will be located in the conference registration area. Conference staff will be available to answer questions and help you get the most out of your JADPRO Live experience.
First-Time Attendee and Welcome Receptions
- First-time attendees are invited to a special reception hosted by the APSHO committee members. This is one of the best ways to meet other first-timers and fellow APPs before the conference even starts. The official Welcome Reception starts immediately after this and is always a fun and must-attend event.

- Apply what you learned: Take time to review the notes and materials you collect as soon as possible when you return home, and how you plan to use the information in your practice. Share and discuss the new ideas you have with others on your team.
