A Statement on the Location of JADPRO Live 2023

As the organizers of JADPRO Live, we would like to take this opportunity to clarify our stance on the current legal policies in the state of Florida regarding issues related to race, ethnicity, and sexual and gender identity.

We believe in the power of diversity, inclusion, and equity to inspire positive change, and we are committed to creating an environment that is free from discrimination and prejudice. We recognize the importance of providing equal opportunities and have carefully curated an agenda of experts from various backgrounds, ethnicities, genders, and perspectives who will contribute to a rich and inclusive learning experience. While Florida was chosen several years ago as the location for this conference, our decision should not be interpreted as an endorsement of any specific legal policies in the state. Understanding the importance of accessibility and inclusivity, we will offer a virtual option for conference attendees.

Our conference is committed to advancing medical knowledge, improving patient care, and promoting a compassionate and equitable healthcare system for all patients with cancer. In addition to fostering knowledge exchange, the conference aims to make a positive financial impact on the local community.

We are excited to demonstrate our commitment by joining forces with SocialOffset, an organization dedicated to offering socially conscious alternatives to event and destination boycotts. This partnership enables you to choose from among four local 501(c)(3) organizations to donate to. At BroadcastMed, we are proud to pledge our support by matching attendee donations, up to a total of $10,000. A full 100% of your donation will go directly to the charity you select. Further details on how to donate will be available soon.

We are grateful for your attendance and participation in this conference, and we look forward to engaging with you through rich discussions and fruitful collaborations. Let us continue our collective efforts to shape a future that upholds the fundamental principles of fairness, equality, and human rights for individuals with or without cancer.
