Here are some tips for getting approval from an employer to attend JADPRO Live:

• Ask for the time now! Put it on your calendar.
• Set up a process to ensure your work coverage during the meeting.
• Connect your facility’s mission, vision, and goals to the educational opportunities offered by JADPRO Live. Give examples of how your facility, practice, and patients will benefit from your attendance.
• Offer to share a summary of your JADPRO Live experience with your colleagues.

Each year APSHO awards a scholarship to attend JADPRO Live to an member applicant. The Kelly Young Memorial Scholarship provides full, in-person registration for JADPRO Live, roundtrip airfare, and 3 hotel nights.

The Mary Pazdur Award for Excellence in Advanced Practice in Oncology honors an APSHO member who demonstrates exemplary leadership and outstanding contributions in clinical practice, research, education, collaboration, and mentorship. The recipient of the award will receive $5,000, recognition during JADPRO Live, and registration and travel.

Would you like to be considered for presenting at JADPRO Live? Submit a proposal here, including a brief rationale describing the learning gap your session would address, tentative learning objectives, and, if available, a video of a past presentation. Submission is for consideration purposes only and does not guarantee selection as a conference speaker.

APSHO members can submit a clinical abstract to be considered for poster presentation at JADPRO Live.
